Had a lucid dream the other day.  I woke up downstairs (in the dream), and remembered going to sleep in my bed.  "How did I get here?" I thought.  Then it hit me.  I was dreaming!  I started to pay attention now, just kind've observing the dream environment.  I went upstairs and outside.  I tried demanding "clarity now" like William Buhlman advises in his OBE book.  Noticing no significant boost in awareness, I (wrongly) assumed I was as conscious as I am when physically awake.  I started deliberately levitating for a minute, and then abruptly woke up.

I think the key to inducing LD's lies in exercising some degree of rational thinking in the dream world.  No mean feat, especially seeing as bizarre logic can seem perfectly natural in a dream.  I think I'm making progress though.  Lately I've been feeling a concentrated desire to seek spiritual knowledge.  I think bringing my awareness into the sleep state is the key.  When we sleep, we lay down and let go.  I think being able to do that consciously will bring me closer to spiritual enlightenment.

I don't know of anyone who can LD at will. There's a thread on that at ld4all.com, and last time I checked, none of them could.

That's really interesting Michael.  I'm always intrigued when I find people who have a genuinely hard time distinguishing dream realities from physical realities.  My goal is to get to the point where I can create realities as real as physical reality.  From what you wrote, you have received wounds in so called "non-physical" reality which have transfered over to "physical" reality?

So your friend also remembered this metaphysical event?  What does he make of it?  Does it seem like a dream to him or does he attatch any profound significance to it?  Are you guys trying to deliberately create a consensus reality?  Sorry for all the questions, but experiences like this are very interesting.  Do you have awareness that you are in a different state of reality when this happens?

That's freaking weird man.  And pretty cool.  

One other quick question:  When you create during these OBE's does the manifestation that springs up seem to almost create itself based on your intent, in effect filling in details that you aren't necessarily consciously thinking about, or are the creations exactly what you imagine.  Just curious.
